isn't that fantastic endurance ?

i have the 250GB MX500 as a boot drive for 2.5 years............18,784GB host writes and down to 72% life.......

You say 2 years old.

16552 hours equates to about 99 weeks of 24/7 operation. So I guess the PC is on virtually non-stop.

Writing about 1 TB per week.

I'd guess that is more than 99% of users. I write 5 or 6 TB a year. I'd guess average is in the 8 to 20 range?

That write rate may be easily explained. Maybe not. Regardless, I doubt I'd get a new drive just to get a higher TBW. Any drive can quit at any time or run far beyond the TBW point. Suit yourself of course. TBW can be a factor in a warranty claim, but otherwise not sure I'd be very excited about it. Your warranty likely isn't more than 3 years?

We all run our machines different so there is no normal.

You show about 6.5GB/hour written to the ssd.
I show less than 1GB/hour written to my ssd.

Perhaps an area to snoop in.
