Okay I just got my HD3870 and has been playing Crysis. Single player most of the time. Along the way I have notice some glitches.

1. First of all the dreaded NForce4/X-Fi sound glitch. This happens everytime the cinematic video plays. The way I solve this problem is to save after the cinematic and reload the game. That seem to clear it out until the next cinematic. I'm reading all over the forums about this, and as far as I know the game (Crysis) does not like X-Fi or EAX capable cards in general, since many who suffers this delima are using them. The sound is not much better as any other games and it's good.

2. Artifact glitch. I know my card is well capable of playing the game but sometimes when the game is loading another area I get an artifact glitch. It looks like a lightning and covers the whole screen and that it. I've encounter it a few time like in the beggining. The graphics card is at 50c full load so we scratch that over-heating part and the game plays smooth before and after that. Only happens when map is loading and the game progresses to the next objective.

3. AI glitch. I've found that some other AI, under pressure are making some stupid movements. Even when doing there tasks. I have seen 3 AI got stuck in the single toilet room as I waited them out to snipe them one by one. I have seen other just stand in the corner doing nothing or running to a wall and just kept running. The AI overall are awesome and they are somewhat cunning in hunting you down. Some will just fire and throw grenades randomly when they are spook out as you use a cloak to hide. Others will go around you and try to take you out from behind. It's a very nice AI behavior except the glitches.

4. The last one. At the end of the game where you are tasks to kill the largest enemy you've encounter. As you are ordered to defend the ship or at least defeat the enemy. That part I have experience a glitch where my character falls through the flight deck and into the lower decks or hanger. Yes, the character just falls through the deck like a ghost through a wall. I notice this when my character dies and the map reloads automatically. This is the only part and area this glitch happens. Quiting and reloading the game seems to fix the issue.

All of this glitches. happens most in DX10 mode. Tried the DX9 for a chance and it's better in terms of performance but with a slight lower visual quality. Well I hope Crytek is making a patch out there to fully run the game smooth and that goes for the ATI team as well. Feel free to put your glitcher here as well, and hopefully they'll hear us out and make a better patch.

if you use quick save/load it causes quite a few bugs.. artifacting I had that only in the multiplayer beta. AI glitches probably can't be fixed by anyone but crytek.

Ive seen the running against a wall thing with the pre-patch too btw. That was in dx9 in xp though. Some soldier just running against a sand bag for as long as i could resist shooting him (20 seconds no more lol). In general i quite liked the ai, groups of guys seem to go patrolling areas where youve been shooting the place up, and if you come back a little while later (hunting for ammo) you can seemingly randomly run into them and have a random little fire fight. Just generally impressed. all round

Thanks for all your input. Check out Youtube for more AI glitches on Crysis.

Also when you fight the General before entering the alien ship, try punching him out to the edge and into the water. You can do this by using "maximum strenght" and just punch him repeatedly. While in the water the General will sometimes go underwater for a minute and talks at the same time without a breathing/scuba aparattus. At this time you can wait for him to swim up the water to eliminate him. The vehicle gunner also will not shoot you if you're close enough that he can't aim down at you.
