This is all nice... But...

I just can't seem to get excited over special editions, with Call of Duty Modren Warfare 2's Night Vision Goggles...

Even thought the game was not the best, the goggles looked awesome.

[citation][nom]irh_1974[/nom]$150For a gameJust digest that for a moment...Nope, can't justify it[/citation]
60 for a game, 90 for accessories. I can't justify it either, but if you're a fan of the game... you won't care.

The PC Collectors Edition should drop all the silly little kids stuff and instead come with graphix card capable of playing Crysis 2. So instead of a card bundled with a game its a game bundled with a card!

why the hell, is there not a thousand things that are more fitting than a god damn ugly backpack (that only a child could wear without ridicule) to include in a limited edition?

The Crysis 2 Nano Edition is designed for the ultimate Crysis fan and will include the Limited Edition housed in a steel case plus an 11” / 28 cm statue of the game’s hero “Prophet” on top of a New York taxi cab...

I thought we were playing as Nomad still, when did it get announced that it is Prophet?

[citation][nom]gm0n3y[/nom]So they have special features in the more expensive versions that will give you a competitive advantage over other players (additional starting XP presumably for every time you play, etc). That is lame, you shouldn't have to pay additional money just to compete. Bad precedent here.[/citation]

The "Limited Edition" is the same price as the "Standard Edition" Just like with Battlefield Bad Company 2 for PC. The initial release will be all LE's until they decide to switch to Standard Edition/version, or they "sell all of the LEs"

Guys, it's obviously not supposed to be an FN SCAR. Crytek just named it that for some reason.

And it DEFINITELY doesn't resemble an HK G36...

[citation][nom]thearm[/nom]If I was a kid again, that would be awesome. It still is awesome I just wouldn't wear one now (33).[/citation]

good thing at my age I still look like I am 24, I may just...nah overpriced software 😀 but it is an interesting pack though. at least you can use it unlike the halo helmet.

ok a couple things..

Backpack looks gay
Nomad was a whining complaining pain in the a$$ to play with.
They've been hyping C2 for over a year now and to tell the truth - we're all tired of hearing about the BS.

[citation][nom]borisof007[/nom]Anyone remember Steel Battalion?[/citation]

But that game had a ridiculously complex controller, was awesome, and totally worth the $150-200 you'd typically throw down for it.
