parts of the site dont seem to be working, for example sign in or create account, it just darkens the screen and nothing happens :/

so it looks like there is no beta sign up?

It's possible that registering might be the actual sign-up, but there is absolutely NOTHING on the website about beta testing. (Aside from people making forum posts about it.)
