Crysis 2 Missing textures

I downloaded both the steam version and the stand alone version of the multiplayer demo but neither will render textures.

all i am left with are outlines and some grass

nano vision works

i have updated my drivers for my 5870 aswell

What are your full specs? what graphics settings was this on?
