Crysis 2 Multiplayer PC Demo

i was half and half with the new Demo. im not going to base my decision off a multiplayer demo because i honestly wasnt a fan of the Crysis 1 mp either.

heres my problems. the no lean thing is a sign that its a consol port. which really sucks.

something most people arnt talking about, wheres the destructible buildings in the game?! basically its just the usually glass and a few other things breaking, i was hoping that like Crysis 1 it would be possible to break down smaller buildings. etc

i didnt like the way they changed the SCAR, i loved the old SCAR, this new one is a bit cheap feeling.

i also dont like the new energy layout, energy used to run, only stealth and armor modes. etc

i have never played crysis 1. i have been playing the crysis 2 demo for a few days. the last online fps i played was ut 2003, its not bad compared to that, a bit easier infact. but i suspect i will be sick of it in a week or so......

Well I am getting good fps. When somebody kills me it takes off 20 fps anybody else having this problem. I guess the solution is not to die.

Game play is ok. Anyone else getting low FPS with ATI cards? I am avg like 45 fps with my rig that can max Crysis 1 8x AA etc 60+fps. The wonderful demo doesnt support CF.

I see this is an old post, but, yeah im getting about the same with crossfire 6870s and a p2 955 @ 4.0 ghz so I wouldn't worry about it too much I just don't think the demo supports crossfire or sli, not to mention dx11, overall the demo seems very underwhelming to me, and the original crysi(s) were not known for their multiplayer so I would be surprised if Crysis 2 can improve much more upon the mediocre taste of multiplayer we got in the demo. Hopefully at least the single player will be a hit.

I downloaded the demo and started playing and I got just 9-15 FPS in the lowest settings ( 800 X 600, Vsync off, GAMER settings ) on my 8400 GS!!
I just hope that when they release the game, it would have the full graphical options, so that I can turn down the bloom, motion blur, like how I was able to do in Crysis and Crysis Warhead.
I tried turning off the motion blur using commands and other things but it didn't work.

It does feel like a console port, however, I feel overshooting someone and the mouse is a little too smooth and so I can't shoot a thing.

I really liked the game though. Its good and this is my first multiplayer experience. I really enjoyed it even though it was unplayable as hell !

this game is going to suck imho, at least the multiplayer will, and that is what I mainly go for in FPS games, played the demo just don't like it, back to BFBC2 and waiting for BF3
