Hello,
CAN CRYSIS 2 RUN ON DUAL CORE 2.5GHZ 2GB RAM WITH 9500GT 1GB RAM DDR2 MAX SETTINGS PLZZZZZZ TELL ME FROM ONE MSG PLLZZZZZ ALLLL

Assuming you mean Crysis 2, why don't you just download the demo and find out? It will probably run well at Advanced and maybe Hardcore, but the retail release will have different options for graphics so probably not at high at that time. The Demo doesn't have DX11. And of course we cannot speculate about retail performance... well, we could, but we'd be wrong.

Ew where are you from?

I'm in Canada and I think in 1 province they limit it but there's been a huge huff about internet metering. I signed a petition that got something like 300,000 signatures to stop the metering. Having a cap is such BS! Especially when I use Steam to buy games and upload to YouTube

You must have cap because you can choke internet traffic with that high upload and download speeds you have in usa... 😉

I will test now Crysis 2 demo on my configuration (2007, see below in signature) and i will tell you how it performs. So you can all know what to expect from your powerful gaming machines... :)

Wow! First of all game looks awesome, best graphic i have ever seen and i haven't seen it on DX11... wow :)

Second, I CAN PLAY this game on maximum resolution (for me it's 1280x1024) and maximum details in stable and playable 25FPS in average!! 😱 When i say playable i mean smooth game play with no lags or problems. Am very pleased with my computer, it's old but still capable of dealing with new games...

I checked my cpu usage and it is all time 100% on all two cores, impressive because i haven't seen my cpu reaching it's limits until now (Core 2 Duo @ 3 Ghz) :)

I have plenty of system DDR2 RAM memory (8GB) running at 800Mhz (for my max setting 800Mhz is fine)

My GeForce XFX 8800GTS 640MB is still good for gaming, and when i say good i mean i have smooth game play at max settings for my Samsung 961BF TFT.

So, i think that with your new computers you will have smooth game play (like me but on DX11) 😉

I think Crysis 2 is actually very well optimized because I get quite high CPU usage as well on my OCed quad core. Now it COULD be a bad thing but I think in this case it just means reduced bottlenecks for the GPUs so framerates seem to be very smooth and consistent.

Thank you 'jjb8675309', 25fps is more like minimum average because it sometimes drop to 20fps. Normal is 30fps or even higher. I agree that it is not the best experience but i was more interested how will my rig perform on everything maxed out. So now i have decided to drop from hardcore graphic details to advanced (medium?) and now it runs around 50fps average (max above 65fps, and minimum above 35fps) much better and graphic still looks awesome!

'wolfram23' yes i agree with you. I heard that Crysis 2 is optimized for 8 cores or 16 threads or even more (correct me if am wrong, i don't remember exactly for how much) and i have seen a total utilization of my 2 cores at 100% constant usage. Crysis 2 has better optimization of game engine than original Crysis.

I will postpone upgrade of my pc for now, but when i decide, i will buy a faster quad cpu and a new or used GeForce 460 or 560 card...

well guys...its not tru som of this stuff... my specs are
3gb ram
ati radeon hd 4850
intel core 2 quad q8200 2.33ghz

and i can run everything on max in 1449x900 resolution...

P.S.
i dont have anything overlocked

Ofc you CAN run Crysis 2... Please explain to me, what did you meant when you said "it's not tru som of this stuff" ??? What is not true?

If all else fails buy a Xbox
xbox is an overpriced piece of crap.I doubt that crysis 2 on xbox looks as good as low setting in crysis 2 pc.On a strict budget just buy a core 2 duo or a core i3 for video card get the gts 450 andyou will get better image quality at lower price than on an xbox

nah don't worry about that. crysis 2 is xbox 360 first then port to pc. ps3? simply it was not important at all. still remember that crytek once said that they will not compromise the graphic in console even with their limited hardware capabilities compared to pc. now if you think about it there is easy way to make the console version on par with pc version graphically isn't it? :kaola:

btw the OP the never once post back since his first post....

How about these settings:

CPU: Qore 2 Quad 2.4
RAM: 8 G.B DDR2 [4x2GB]
GPU: Nvidia GTX 580

On what settings i'd be playin' it smoothly (im thinkin' of connectin' the pc to a 50" [HD Ready] T.V.

thanks guys.
