CrystalDiskMark on Samsung 840 EVO, is it ok .... or am I Lucky?

I got this crazy fast speed even it beat NVME ???

Is this real or some error.

This is my 5200rpm normal laptop HDD attached to my desktop SATA

For your 840 EVO...do you have RAPID mode turned on?
That is my guess.

If yes, that super uber reading is mostly just reading your RAM, and not the drive.

Oh yes its enabled .. that is why .. sorry I am new to bench marking as I Ordered "samsung 970 evo NVME 250gb" and thought let me quickly check how much performance i am going to gain , and man this number [840] and numbers for [970] i thought whatttt ??

I am going to buy fastest NVME and my ssd is faster than that.. it make me so worried

Well, that uber speed is mostly only applicable to benchmarks.

Looks great, but user facing performance, not so much.
