I am sure other game makers will license the engine, hopefully the engine allows for more than just FPS games. Would also like some action adventure, and probably some space combat games (imagine a game like free space on the cry engine)

Have you not heard the news yet?

[citation][nom]sixdegree[/nom]How about a game about shooting dinosaurs? They could use the Crytek engine and their expertise in FPS games to and call it: Dino Crysis.[/citation]

Turok using CryEngine? That sounds a whole lot better than a generic humans vs aliens shooter.

The problem for me was the way they made crysis 2 (dunno about 3, ever got interested in it), so the company is doing things in a way that does not interest me.

Due to that, if crytek comes up with something new, id still look at it from far away before considering it.

Crytek really rocked my world with crysis 1 and warhead, but as far as i am concrned, the crysis 2 game was a step back to cash on consoles.
This is in a way a proof for me that the company does not make quality products, and should not be considered as a potencial cutomer.

I dont have too much money, and i do not wish to spend it on weak products when i can buy better products. Its as simple as that (this includes DRM :).

To misquote Yogurt (Spaceballs):

"Merchandising, merchandising, where the real money from the game is made. Crysis the T-shirt, Crysis the Coloring Book, Crysis the Lunch box, Crysis the Breakfast Cereal, Crysis the Flame Thrower!!!
