hello , i have few questions, first thing Im playing counter-strike for a long time.
I've played recently on my friends pc and something isn't right.
On his pc the game runs perfectly smooth, shooting and jumping is so easy, everything is easy to do, I can do almost everything.
But on my pc the game isn't so easy, I have constant 100fps in 5-6 smoke grenades it never drops in any action so it's not a performance issue. But something isn't right, my movement, my shooting its not the same. Controling the recoil is hard, my shots are not registered as hits.i'm having this problem since 5 years,i was play with 1.5 sensitiviy. i don't know what happenend but hard to play with 9.6 sensivity same mouse. i changed 2 computers,5 mouse( A4 x718,X750BF,Logitech g300,Mx518,Ms 3.0) except my monitor. here is my hardware
Intel Core i5-4670K CPU@ 3.40GHZ
Corsair vengeance 16GB ram
Gigabyte Z87x-D3H motherboard
Seagate 1TB hard drive
ATI radeon HD7870 POWERCOLOR graphics card
SAMSUNG syncmaster 961BF(2ms), with DVI cable
DirectX 11

and
i made this video ===>> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lBBLPOrGxtw

oh haha I think its just a game problem. try uninstalling it and reinstalling it. having you tried reducing the all the video settings to low?

yes mate i tried million times reinstall & format pc, and i try video 16 bit & fps 30-40-50 still nothing change. also i changed VSYNC off/on

ohh, sometimes I find that some games just don't work well with some gpus. I remember playing crisis 1 with a 7870 while getting 60+ fps but the game was just weird compared to a 660ti which had the same fps

i don't think is fps issue. i can 1000fps easily on this pc. :'( I was sent steam support ticket 15 days ago still im waiting answer i think they didn't find any solution yet.

Have you tried uninstalling your videocard drivers and reinstalling them? Your drivers might not be up to date...

If the problem persists ask your friend if you can borrow his VGA card next time he brings his PC over - download his drivers and see if the problem remains. If it's fixed your Video card might be dying.

Good Luck :)

i dont think i can make myself clear. My graphic card driver is already latest version and i bought it 1 month ago.And yes i tried million times for that.my previous graphic card had an vga output, now i dont have an vga output.only DVI, this problem occurs differently on each computer. my problem is that the accuracy of the mouse is gone and the person i'm aiming to shoot in the head doesn't die. I'm struggling to get the man killed. when the bullets scatter around the image should be softer but it isn't. the game is more clamping and the bullets are flying everywhere but where i'm aiming. my only doable technique is to attack with everything I have such as 30 bullets, bombs, knifes..
I'm doing all sorts of stuff just to kill 1 person. eventualy my problem is that the game is clamping, it's hard for me to move, the accuracy of the mouse is gone and even bowing, standing or moving around is hard. 5 years ago i didn't have these issues the game was running smoothly and i could kill with the glock on every possible way. it didn't matter which gun i was using. but now even with 30 bullets it's hard to kill unless the enemy makes a stupid move than i can kill him.its a problem rooted in the hitbox and spread

Ok then if it is JUST a recoil problem might I suggest the following ?

Shoot BURST ... I cannot emphasise this enough <-

Full auto is useless now, I learned that the hard way (except with maybe a M249 or so...) also start aiming from the chest so the recoil goes up (if you aren't doing it already)

Go to DUST II near the terrorist spawn point and on our way to bomb site B (before you turn right and jump down the crates to go into that building). turn left there is a wall with a line practice shooting there (burst fire) on the wall & learn the recoil pattern for the guns you are struggling with.

Alternatively use a different mouse pad, try lowering the in game mouse sensitivity as well as remove any mouse acceleration. Do the same with your mouse settings if you have a mouse with a firmware program.

I had the same issue and the surface my mouse was on was causing it to be less responsive.

They did change the recoil from CS:1.6 and CS:S they even changed it right after it went public so that people had to relearn the recoil again. Try using a different weapon - I cant for the life of me hit with an AWP anymore but I am fine with the Schmidt Scout. I am also better with a pistol than most rifles, so just experiment with new weapons.

Also keep in mind that frustration affects your gameplay so stay calm while playing :)

Other than what I mentioned I am sorry man I can't help you without actually seeing your problems because what it sounds like to me and what you might be experiencing are 2 different things in this case.

its not something that can be resolved by skills.5 years ago i could play it with 1.5 sensitivity but now i can barely play with9.6 it's also hard to controll the mouse.
everything else aside another big issue is that the bullets i fire dont go where theyre supposed to go. how am i supposed to play like that? it's allready weird to be playing a 2000dpi mouse at 9.6.
before the mouse would fly above any sens. of 2. don't u understand it has nothing to do with the recoil update? i could easily manage the recoil before too.i'm playing this game since the beginning i know how the bullets should go.and i got already steel series QCK mini so same mouse same pad, and i play calm all the time but if i didn't shoot them easily it makes me angry and nerveous.

That will not be necessary :) I am soooo sorry I didn't see you had Youtube links in your original post this morning I was in a hurry and thought they were forum links like the others. Merely a human error from being in a rush.

I know you said it's not a network problem you LAN'ed and it still persists may I ask did you use the same cable for the LAN? Could it be possible that your network cable is causing this? What have Steam said about this? Anything from their support? The DE 1st shot should have hit sooner. I have not played 1.6 in 5 years so I can't really help since I can't remember exactly how long you had to stand still for the accuracy to be 100%, but there is definitely something not right. Try creating an extra Steam account buy CS:GO when it is -75% off again and see if the new one is different? It should only cost $5 and if it doesn't work then you can sell that steam acc to a friend or someone for $5-00. The reason I thought it had to be drivers were because your specs are overkill for this game. Can I ask you some questions about this?

- How long have you had this problem?

- Have you downgraded the drivers ? (Something in them might be conflicting with the games if it was not always like this)

- Have you tried to install the game on a different computer HDD?

I read you used different builds but did you use completely different HDD's

- Have you used YOUR Steam Counter Strike on a different computer lately?

-Have you used a different Steam account with Counterstrike on Your Computer?

-What were the results?

- Have you used a different mouse on your PC to test if something isn't wrong with the specific mouse/game setup? Or a loose/ damaged cable that is only noticeable in these games?

-Have you lowered the DPI to 800 or lower?

-Try using an SSD & come back to me if anything is different. Do not copy your steam over to the SSD redownload everything from scratch. Use CS: Source or CS: GO only. If the problem has vanished then redownload CS:1.6

I am sorry I am aiding to your frustration by making you relive this but I am trying to help you :) It's just most of the stuff you have tried should have already fixed it. So this is quite the mind boggler

I will try to answer your questions. first of all i'm experiencing this same problem since 5 year. ever since i've tried anything possible to find a solution, i've formatted my pc, harddisk, i even tried to erase everything with killdisk, I installed the game on various harddisks and tried it in some gaming cafes, most commonly the ones with an MSi card didn't seem to have the problem. on the forums they mainly say that the problem is motherboard related. I was usually playing the game nonsteam, but even when playing it with steam the same problem would occur. anyway the problem is not about the update. i tried 5 different mice :a4tech x718(2000dpi),x750bf(2500dpi) mx518(1800 dpi i think) ms3.0 , logitech g300. since i'm playing non steam i don't think there may be an account problem, right now i have both steam and non steam installed on my computer.
the motherboard on my old computer was one of Asus. 5 years ago it was running very smoothly and the CS was working unbelievably good. but i don't now what happened the game started clamping and i had less sensitivity. My current motherboard is one of Gigabyte and i'm still having the same problem. it's been only 1 month since i bought my computer and i'm experiencing the same issues. the SDD's are a bit expensive and i don't think the'd solve anything. because we used to play the game on older computers very smoothly. i have both downloaded csgo and css but the results are the same. i can say it's even harder to play those two.and besides that i have allready tried 2 steam accounts but still with the same results, on my old computer i did try many drivers but none of them worked well. i did format it with unplugging the lan cable en testing it on bots but always with the same result. what i do not understand is to play a 2500dpi mouse with 9.6 sensitivity. normally with that it should fly on screen am i right? i'm reducing the sensitivity but then i'm losing controll of my mouse, it's not so sensitive.
right now i'm using Win7 , i didn't try to delete its updates. but on my old computer which was an XP, i tried to unplug from the net and install only the drivers with no updates, but still won't work.
it's such a useless problem i still dont understand it and most people wont understand this either.

Sorry to hear man 🙁 sounds like you have tried everything. -bro hug

I hope some genius desends from the heavens & assists you so we can play together :)

5 years on more than 1 pc means some demon has possessed your pc or something because the upgraded / new pc should have fixed it regardless.

Again I apologise for not being able to assist further, I will however search the web for something (I realise you have been searching for 5 years) but perhaps a combines effort will solve it.

5years ago i have also researched it for about a year but noone opened a forum so i had to quit the game.1.5 month ago i bought a new pc and csgo pack so i started to research it again but it seems it didnt help either. even when i try to explain my problem most of the people wont understand it because they dont know how to play it properly, only at a few places it's mentionned see link below http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=781721

Your new pc is 100% new you didn't take any of the old parts and put them into the new build? (not even Hard drive correct?)

Do you play any other FPS games? (preferably new ones that are graphics intensive) Do you have a smooth experience with them?

Did you try using Direct X 9 or 10 instead of 11?

I know these suggestions don't sound right but to tackle a problem that is mysterious we need a mysterious sollution, I firmly believe we need to try something you haven't so I am trying to think what wouldn't it be because maybe it'll be that (hoping for some luck)

My computer is %100 new except for the monitor, mouse, keyboard and speakers.also i try CRT monıtor already. Now i’m using directx11 how can i downgrade it to 9 or 10? I think on my old pc it was 9 i dont really remember it. and n other games such as (black ops 1-2 cod 2-3 or medal of honor warfighter.. there was also no mouse sensitivity and it was hard to aim. So what i’m trying to say is that the problem isn’t only about cs1.6. even with the slightest movement of the mouse the pixels seem to change, do u understand? Normally mice with an dpi between 2000-2500 should be really sensitive and there wouldnt be any pixellost. I did try to change the mouse settings on regedit but they didnt help either. What i didnt try is to update the firmware of my router with an update named ‘dd-rwt’ and activate QoS. My modem isn’t compatible with the update but i don’t actually think that’ll solve it since the same happens to the bots also.
I can send you the ‘.nfo’ file of my computer if you like, so you can show it maybe to someone you know or someone who has experience with these things. Maybe there is a mismatch or inconsistency in the equipement that i should change.

i got this program from someone . it calculates the effectivity of the motherboard etc.. i dont know how it exactly works but the lower ms is the better i think. when i entered cs the numbers were like this. how shouldbthe numbers normally be and should the delay be lower? what can i do to fix it?. my friends said "hal.dll, hdaudbus.sys,usbport.sys, dxgkrnl.sys, iastor.sys causing high dpc latency problems. how can this be lowered what sould be done? is there someone familiar with this issue? from what i have read on this forum there is a sound issue appearing on win7 and win8. they used this program to solve this problem. the program is called latencymon. i have found anither one call3d set timer resolution. it reduces from 1ms to 0.5ms. but i cant say it really helped
