So I'm looooooooking so long for a PC build. But still not sure what componets/monitor to use :c.

----------------------------------------

So I'm here to ask you a few questions :

----------------------------------------

Do I need GTX 1070 for cs:go [low,medium,high graphics settings (2560x1440 res)]
or
Is GTX 1060 best card for 2560x1440 CS:GO gaming ?

----------------------------------------

Rest of specs. :

Intel Core i5-6600K <----- ( Do i need i7 if I want to combine it with GTX 1060 ?)
Samsung 850 EVO 500GB <---- SSD :)
GPU <----- (look at questions)
ASUS Z170 PRO GAMING <---- Mother Board
4x4GB RAM (3000MHz) <----- RAM :)
BenQ XL2730 <----- Monitor

I think that's all c:

--------------------------------------

Have a good day/night !!!

If you want that much of fps than go for 1070. I still recommend you the rx 480 over a 1060 coz later down the road rx480 is the better choice whereas 1060 is not future proof.
Though the 1060 will deliver 144+ fps on high settings, but i am not sure about 200+fps. Just turn off the Vsync to achieve that fps.

If you are planning on playing on playing CS:GO only then go for 1060 only. But, if you want to play games like GTA V and BF1 then i would recommend a 1070 although 1060 is also good for 1440p gaming but you won't be able to play games on ultra rather high settings and for that you need a 1070.

But, i would strongly recommend rx 480 over a 1060, it has better DX12, Vulkan and VR support than 1060.
1060 doesn't have a SLI support.
For future preference rx 480 beats 1060.

If you have money then only go for i7, else stick to 6600k it's a beast for gaming.
