CS:Go freezing even on low settings, but any other game on highest settings working just fine

Hello everyone

For quite some time I have been experiencing random "freezing" while playing CS:Go, mostly when I kill someone or get killed, throw grenades and very few times even mid round.

Strange enough it happens even with all my settings on low quality, while other games like Rocket League and America's Army Proving Grounds run smooth without any problem at any moment on the highest possible settings.

But weirdly enough my laptop, which is less good than my pc, doesn't freez while running cs:go (The game isn't as smooth, but it at least doesn't randomly freeze)

On the link below you can see the specifications of my pc.

I tried re-installing the game, re-installing drivers, changing in game settings, removing the XBOX DVR from my pc, but nothing seems to help.

Anyone who has any idea of how to fix this?

Greetings,
Endarion

I can assure you, you are not the only one with this issue, the source engine is terribly outdated by now, and always has some bizarre performance problems. Trying verifying your game files
(Library > Counter Strike:Global Offensive > (Right click) > Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrity of Game Files).

If that does not work, launch the game, join a server and open developer console. See if there are any red lines of error code. (There will usually be a lot, if there is something wrong)

Does your fps actually drop when the game freezes? (check by monitoring your framerate with net_graph 1 or cl_showfps 1)
Do the freezes occur offline?

No my fps doesn't drop, it stays the same all the time

I also verified my files and no problems with that, I will try the thing with the developer console to see if I get any errors in there
