I have an intellioptical mouse and for some weird reason I get this weird glitch where my crosshair will move in the direction I was turning my mouse depending on how fast I am flicking the mouse. I've tried in many other games and it is only in CS:GO that this problem occurs in. My friend even saw it but has no idea what it could be because like I said the cursor never does this in any other games. I've tried reinstalling, verifying integrity of the game files and such. Not sure what to do as this point because to me it seems like a CS issue rather than a mouse issue.

Im not sure what you mean, does the crosshair keep moving for a bit in that direction after you stopped?

Assuming the above, too much added acceleration can cause over steer like effect of the mouse, setting input ingame to raw should stop that. Vsync if set to on can cause a slight delay between what you see on screen and mouse movement.

Have you tried a different mouse mad?

So it's very weird. I don't play with vsync or Accel or input, my crosshair will slowly move in the direction I flick at times and I will literally lift my mouse up and my crosshair will keep turning until I press a button on my mouse. It only does it in cs and I have no idea what it could be at this point. Like for example I was just flicking my mouse to the left over and over to test this out in game and after a bit the crosshair will continue to move to the left even though I don't even have the mouse on the mouse pad at that point. I went into other games I play and it doesn't do this. Super confusing

Do you have a controller connected?

Found this, it's a long read but see if theres something in there that might help. Read the comments, some don't agree with the op and offer other advice like Numlock and other commands to disable joystick.

Well if it was a controller wouldn't it do it in all my games? Just curious because like and my friend are super lost on what kind of issue it could be but I'll definitely check it out
