Almost everytime i try to play CS:GO, after the first or second match (20 - 100 mins) my pc just shuts off mid game. All LEDs turn off except the ones of the mainboard. I have to plug the pc off, until the LEDs of the mainboard turn off (5 seconds), to restart the pc.

Other games like Overwatch play well (more than 3 hours) with higher temps and even Stress Tests run without crashing. The temps in CS:GO are 50 C for the CPU and 70 C for GPU (so it is definitely not a thermal issue).

Windows gives this critical error in the Event Logger: Kernel Power 41.
I updated all drivers and even the Bios and reinstalled Steam and CS:GO, but nothing helps.

I would really appreciate it if someone could help me out.

The PC is also very new 2 months and these are the specs:

CPU: Ryzen 5 1600 (not overclocked)
GPU: Rx 580
Ram: Corsair CMK8GX4M2B3000C15 (at 2133, was at 2933, but downclocked it again,
which did not help)
Mainboard: Asus Prime B350M-A
PSU: Evga 600b

I haven't had time for the last month to test the PC without the case, but today I finally could do it. The PC still seems to be crashing, even though the GPU is installed correctly, and I am really angry about that. What I noticed though over this month was that I could play this game without the Multicore Rendering option turned on with way less FPS, but no crashing. And I could play other games like Fortnite and they did not crash. Maybe this is a problem related to CS.GO and not my PC.

What I also wanted to note about my PC was that the CPU voltage fluctuates a lot in idle, even when manually set, and goes up to 1.35 V, even though it is set to 1.23. Under load it always gives 1.2 V and the setting change nothing. I find that very strange and don't know if it has something to do with the problem.

Thank you, I am going to try that.

If I set it manually, shouldn't it just stay at what I set it to be, even under load? And 1.35 for stock clock seems a little high to me.

This might actually be the solution to the problem. The Powercolor graphics card, I have, has a switch for two Bioses. One of them is an oc and the other one a silent mode with a slightly lower core clock. After you wrote your suggestion, I switched to the silent mode and could play 3 rounds (no crashing !!!). Before it always crashed one the first game. I will test this setup now for some time and come back with my results. But thank you for now.
