Hi, i have just swapped my 1070 for a 1080ti and im getting 480 avg fps on csgo fps benchmark map with the 1080ti but i was getting 460 avg fps with the 1070? i know this is great fps and i know csgo is a cpu focused game but when im paying for an upgrade you expect it to be running alot better... does anyone know if i need to be changing something or am i missing something with my setup

setup/settings

all low settings with max performance on nvidia

i7 9700kf boosted to 4.9

32gb 3200mhz

600watts seasonic

msi z390 gaming edge ac

samsung 970 evo plus m.2

benq xl2546k 240hz

good cooling, never overheats

increase game details/resolution, thats where gpu upgrade will shine
btw whats the point of 480fps with 240hz monitor?

otherwise your cpu bottlenecked, you could overclock cpu, tighten ram latencies and also switch to mesage signalled interrupts to further reduce system latency

The 480fps is in fps benchmark map, ingame it can be between 200 and 500 at any time. All i was really sayin is that i see twitch streamers with worse cpu n gfx yet they get same sort of fps or better fps so its just annoying the fact that my system should run better. I do cap my fps at 400 but when testing it all and see if its running any better than my 1070, which there wasnt a nig increase in fps so maybe it is the cpu as csgo is a cpu focused game.
