CSGO freezes when in a loading screen?

Ever since the new update, my csgo freezes during every loading screen, sometimes it doesn't but 90% of the time it does, please help. This is very frustrating.

Doesn't work 🙁 With my cfg, it already has it disabled, it's supposed to be cl_disablemotd 1 or something right?

Yes it should be. Then go to the file "video.txt" and find something that says "settings.mem level and change the value from 1 to 0 and save the file. Finally make the file read only.

Verify Cache, the video.txt. Pretty much that's all lol. Oh and restart my game etc.

Try setting your resolution to a different one each time you start the game.

No, after you should revert it back to full screen

You can try looking for driver updates on the manufacturer's site.

Windows 8, I have put it in for compatibility for windows service pack 2? I think.

Also, I just want to add, I can play Faceit, https://www.faceit.com/. But nothing else, only that.

I did a virus check and in the report it had this ----

I think that is the possible problem for that. What you want to do is disable that from your anti-virus and allow cs:go to run.

Well, yes it did. Last night I could get on a couple of games, now this morning, same issue. Just says not responding in task manager.

are you Alt Tabing Alot? that can cause Source games Like CS:GO to Crash when they are loading into a game or booting up.
