Poor Intel, what else does it have to do to keep up with AMD. =)

Im actually very suprised at the poor ratings a P4 with about 20% higher clockspeed got. To be perfectly honest i only belive it cause it is supposed to be an excert of c't magazine.

760 chipset truely holds a shine of it's own on those benchmarks, lets hope soon we get more reviews but for now poor Intel is a understatment.

iXBT also ran some benchmarks on P5 1.5GHz, the results are very similar to the ones obtained by c't... here's a link to the article:

Looks like AMD finally got its "break". Wouldn't it be funny if in 5 years we were laughing at intel like we use to laugh at AMD?

Very true indeed it would be extreemly funny to look at Intel in the same light as we once looked at AMD.
But we should not forget that Intel is a marketing powerhouse and that most people dont know anything about processors and only look at the "Mhz" at the deciding factor to purchase a cpu.

Lets just hope AMD can turn their name into the mainstream name that it should be by now.
