[SOLVED] ctrl and shift keys doesn't work

im using the dell km713 as my keyboard and my ctrl and shift buttons are not working on both sides.
anyone has an idea on how to fix it?

Take the keyboard and pair it with a donor system/laptop and see if the same issue crops up on the donor systems. If they do, then the issue is hardware, not software.

You could also try taking the keycaps apart and inspect the switch underneath but be careful when removing the keycaps.
