hey guys im wondering if you can help me, ive built my first pc and im very happy however i am a university student and don't have much room for my pc, i used to have it under my desk but it severely restricted my leg room so i have a small cupboard under my desk just large enough to fit my pc in but now its there it does end up thermal throttling after some intensive use, i was planning to build a custom water cooling loop and i was just wondering if it would be possible to make a large rectangular hole in my desk and put the radiator there so it has access to cool air, any help would be much appreciated.

Solution
Probably just allowing airflow through the cupboard would be enough to keep it cool. Maybe 2 holes - 1 for an intake, and another for exhaust, and maybe a fan.
