My cousin has an Old computer, which is actually around a year or two old, anyways its got a locked BIOS and hes given it to me, so now im stuck here with an old computer and a locked bios, specs are
MOBO/ unknown its a hp OEM one...
RAM:4GB DDR3
GPU: R7 240
CPU AMD something :/
Uh, yea so can i like take a BIOS update from i dunno MSI? or something and update that?! im into risk since im only taking the case xD but i wanna play around with it before i bin it... anyones input? Thanks!

I would keep the components and scrap the motherboard. But no, BIOS are made specifically for each piece of hardware, if said piece was a GPU then there are modding utilities, however a motherboard is much more complicated than that. There are motherboards with replaceable BIOS chips if your bios gets corrupted but an OEM would lack this feature.
