So I was installing my new fans into my case and I turned my pc on to make sure they were working. A message popped up saying something like windows repair can restore to a certain point in time. My mouse and keyboard weren't working and I wanted to shut my computer off so I flipped the switch on my PSU. I installed all my fans and went to turn it on and it wouldn't. I checked all connections and everything was plugged in and I used the power cable for my monitor on my PSU to make sure it wasn't the cable and it still didn't work. I don't know what to do next. Any help would be much appreciated.

Check again all connections. Remove all unnecessary components and start the system with a minimum configurations (one RAM stick, DVD drive, keyboard and mouse).
Check if the CPU fan is spinning when starting the board.

So then would I just unplug my hard drive and GPU and remove 1 ram stick?

Did that guide, and it wouldn't even start up with the GPU step. I think the motherboard is fryed but I'm not sure.

The motherboard died. I'm exchaning it for a new one and rebuilding it. Will I need to get the motherboard drivers again, or will they be on the hard drive?

Just exchanged for the same one. I bought the OEM version of windows 7 so will I have to purchase a whole nother copy of it?

No, just install the hard drive, and see if it boots up, prob will be fine, If you have to reload Win, use same OEM copy and if any problem with authenticating call and tell them had a dead mobo that had to be replaced

Okay. Really appreciate the help that everyone on this site has been giving me. Wouldn't have been able to do it withouth you guys.
