I bent one of the cpu pins on my mother board and it stills works fine, in fact Im using to type this message right now. should I be concerned about anything or should I try to fix it with tweezers or a credit card or something? btw its the Gigabyte Z97MX G1 Gaming 5 board.

I havent overclocked anything, but I figured out why it kept turning on and off that problem is ok. also how would I know it was making contact with the cpu or not would the system not work?

Is it a stock cooler or did you apply the thermal paste yourself? You might have applied too much thermal paste. I had a friend who built his own PC without my help, him not knowing that less is more put so much on that the thermal paste had to be cleaned and re applied. It was doing the exact same thing your PC was doing. Would turn on and restart until it stayed on.
