Question Custom Loop Drain

Hello,

I’m almost finished with my custom loop, and I was wondering; my case is very small, and I barely have any space to play with. I have an EK Tap drain valve, and I was wondering if I can use one of the bottom ports of the GPU block to connect a hose down to the drain valve and leave it at the bottom? Will this be ok or will this mean there’s going to be liquid moving the wrong way?

Or can I just out the drain valve on one of the GPU bottom ports without any hoses?

Well drain port should be as low as possible. Usually good place is next to pump or tank.
I think it may work, but I did not try it.

I’m currently using a Reservoir & Pump combo which is above the GPU. The lowest point on my loop would be the GPU, but I’m not sure if it’s a bad idea to do it from there.
