Custom PC Build?

If possible, wait until Ryzen comes to market on the AM4 motherboards. It should trade blows with Intel's i7 all day.
I had a Versa H21 window case and the build quality is crap. Phanteks or NZXT case with psu compartment is much better.
Look at gold rated power supplies between 700 and 800 watts. That will give you breathing room to go crossfire/sli in the future.
The thing that did the most to make my pc feel faster was upgrading to my Crucial 525GB SSD.

Why is it a waste of money? I don't have the money to go intel

I'm on a budget unfortunately so this is the best i can do

I did a super budget build about a year ago. I've since replaced over half of the components. If you must have a pc now, you might want to just get a lil laptop http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIAAZ155V5072 for a couple hundred bucks while you save up and buy nice individual components one at a time. First piece i'd get is this Fractal case http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811352055 . A case that open would show off a water cooler very nicely. Second purchase might be an aio cooler http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835181060 . By then all the new motherboards and such should be out.

You can't get this instead of AMD?

How about this?

Skylake with DDR4 memory is being sold for similar prices, there is no longer a reason to go with outdated Haswell and DDR3, unless you're buying from a different country where Haswell is the only option. From which country and shop are you buying?

Well i've already got a PC that i use for mild gaming such as GTA V on Med-High which i get an average of 40-50fps.
This is the build:https://pcpartpicker.com/list/pQtrqk

I only really want to upgrade my motherboard, CPU and PSU because i plan on getting a GTX 1060 and my current computer will bottleneck the performance.

I'm from the UK btw and most likely Amazon.

If you dont have the money enough i would suggest to stay on this setup for another half year to 1 year. Why? Because i have a Phenom x4 945 and any upgrade is waste of money for me beacuse i would get only 20-30% of upgrade that I will notice in gaming. And I'm talking about cpu's like fx 6300 and higher. Lower cpu's can't match Phenom. and thats where AMD made a big mistake. I'm looking in to upgrading in too Intel, but after wathing this news about Zen cpu's and new AMD that will be strong almost like Intel and cheaper. I decided to stay, in other situation I would gladly migrate to Intel 6th generations because of it's ddr4 memory. but for now i don't have the amount of money to made hat kind of purchase.

I would suggestion because you are looking in to intel 4th generation. Look at the 6th generation, the price is almost the same, but you have the new ddr4 memory and you are calm for the long time.

I had the same dillemy, but i decided to wait. even the price is going to be lower a bit, and the AMD will come.

Well i need to wait a few weeks anyway because i need to save up some more money.

As for the 6th generation, i suppose and extra £20-£30 wouldn't do much harm and would make it more future proof. Would i need to select a new motherboard in order to house this CPU and RAM, because i want to get an ATX mobo not a Micro ATX.
Also what type of 6th generation would you recommend? an i5 6500?

PCPartPicker supports component prices from UK. Can't you sell your current PC as a whole perhaps?
