Custom Sleeve Recommendation

Hi guys,

I’m building a new PC and I was wondering if I should get custom PC sleeves. However, I’m not sure what are the exact things I should get. I was hoping to get some assistance on this.

My PC setup is:

-I7-8700k Coffee lake
-Asus ROG Maximus X Hero
-Asus GeForce 1080
-Cooler Master Hyper 212 LED
-G.Skill Trident RGB 16GB
-Corsair 650W Gold PSU
-Western Digital 1TB Blue
-Samsung EVO840 250GB
-Samsung EVO850 250GB

depending on your case you won't need to have custom cables for your drives only your motherboard and graphics card. if its the asus founders 1080 you only need 1 8 pin if its the strix you'll need a 6 pin and an 8 pin cable. for your motherboard you'll need an 8 pin and 24 pin cable. Make sure you by 1 8 pin EPS for the motherboard an the 6 and point GPU cables should be PCI-E cables. cable mod sells good cables

Since you have Corsair PSU, you can go for CableMod C-series custom sleeved power cables,

Either buy a small set that contains: 1x 24-pin power cable, 1x 4/4-pin EPS power cable and 2x 6/2-pin PCI-E power cables.
Or go with a full set which includes all needed power cables (e.g SATA and molex) in ample amount.
Do note that there are 2 different sets of C-series power cables for Corsair PSUs; one is for AXi, HXi and RM series PSUs while others are for RMi and RMx series PSUs.

CableMod custom sleeved power cables are made with high standard and they also look good. I've replaced my stock power cables inside my Skylake and Haswell builds with CableMod custom sleeved power cables (red colored for Skylake and blue colored for Haswell). Full specs with pics in my sig.
