So i just finished my first custom water loop with petg tubing, while filling up the system i had some troubles with the water not flowing anywhere because of trapped air, well i believe i got it working as the system is filled up fully now. But problem i got is, im using white pastel water and a distroplate, where the water returns back into the distro plate is low and i cant tell if the water is actually moving. The water seems to be still but maybe its moving and i just cant tell, is there anyway to tell? waiting for my flow meter to come in to throw that in but when using the pc i at idol i get about 37 degrees on my i9-9900k and i havent tested with it on load as im afraid its not being cooled properly. Is 37 degrees at idol normal for the i9-9900k? and is there any way to see if the water is flowing like it should?

There's no harm in loading up the system for a stress test. The CPU will throttle, then shut down the system if temps get out of hand.
This.

With a 37 degree idle, it's at least seemingly working. Is the pump running? Like can you hear/feel it? Are you using the distro as a reservoir?

Like said, try and load a stress test. Do a cinebench run or similar. Have a monitoring app open and watch. If there's no flow, temps will shoot up fairly quickly. You can always stop the test yourself if you get uncomfortable.

pump is running i can see it spinning when the computer starts up, and yes im using a distroplate as a reservoir the pump is in the distroplate. About to do a stress test now, i was playing the new call of duty and temps only get up to about 47-51degress, which i believe is good nothing concerning but thats without overclock.
