i decided to make custom water block for my gpu with a cnc machine. the problem is that i dont have any idea on how to do it. should i make tiny heatsinks and make water cross them? i would be really happy, if you could help me or post some pics with ideas

u should never everr build a waterblock and install it without doing research first i tried it once and installed it and it started leakiing and destroying my entire pc luckily warranty was still in effect

That seems to be the most straight forward design as far as milling, what material, something exotic like silver or simply copper. What kind of mounting for the block are you looking to do? What about ram and VRM cooling for the card?
Here's how I might approach this with the proper equipment. First I'd look to make a full waterblock (I'm personally fond of full blocks). I'd scan the surface of the card (with cooling removed) with a Kinect or other 3d scanner and make prototype blocks out of that. It'll give you a chance to experiment with channels on the reverse side of the block too. Once you can mate up the prototype and get good thermal compound spread on both surfaces in all the key areas, then mill the actual block. At least that's what I'd like to think I'd do and assuming access to that kind of equipment.

i am not nasa 😀 vram will be cooled with heatsinks and fan blowing on them. on red spotted places i will make very small heatsinks (1x1mm)

lol, just seeing what was available... and kinda dreaming at the same time
