So i cut the cable that goes from the h150i aio to the motherboard, and im planning on wiring the cables together by cutting off a little of the rubber and spin them together and tape it with insulating tape. Will this solution work out? And does the cables have to be exact or can i just wire the two ends to eachother without matter of what cable touches?

This is quite an embarrasing mistake and would like help to figure how to solve it :) no possibility for soldering

It would work, but it would look bad and isn't particularly safe if something comes loose.

Using two un-insulated butt connectors with shrink tubing over them would be a lot better.
Turns out my step dad has a soldering tool and knows how to use it, so i guess solder it and insulate tape it is the option i got right now, but my question remains: does it matter what cabels connect ?

Soldering and taping is a safe way to do it.

I would try to make sure the cables are connected properly.

Yeah sorry bad way to say that question, but like theres 2 cables «glued» together i guess. And it wont matter which of them connects? Like lets say one is blue and one black, would it matter if black gets soldered to blue?

this is what i mean with the two cables, i would assume it dont matter if they cross or not but

Some electronics are polarity sensitive. If you connect wires improperly it may damage things, cause the pump to not work at all, or spin the pump in reverse.

If it works properly you wired it correctly.
Well the cable in talks was the one connecting to CPU_Fan on the mb, is this sensitive? I just got worried it might cause some issues down the road

It would be the pump that would be sensitive, not the motherboard.
It really depends on the circuit that droves the pump. I know from experience, if you wire a case fan with reverse polarity it will not spin, but work properly if you reconnect it properly.

If it works properly now, it should continue to work fine.

Thats good to hear, thanks a lot for all the feedback! Quite a stupid accident 🤦🏻‍♂️

It happens. Nobody here has ever claimed to have NOT had some kind of "oops" situation, so just consider it a lesson learned and try to be more conscientious about what you are doing in the future. Glad it worked out ok for you because it could have gone the other other way but sometimes you just have to jump when you're on the edge of the cliff. If the parachute doesn't open, well, it's not like you didn't know that was one potential outcome.
