cutting power supply cables.

Hello,

Is it okay to cut the power supply cables to make them shorter then reconnect or solder them again ?

I am making a small PC and the power supply cables are long. and I need the cables to be 100% the right length between the PSU and the plugs.

I am worried about the Watts Delivery if I cut the wires and reconnect them or solder them together again. is there any loss from doing that?
