Cyberlink PowerDirector 10 Deluxe keeps crashing?!

All of a sudden, Cyberlink keeps lagging extremely badly and crashing, even when editing a 5 minute video. I meet all the system requirements and it is only recently it hasn't been working properly. It can also run most games at 30-60fps from Medium to High setting, so I have a good mid-range PC. So is there any way that I can have it running smoothly? Maybe a newer version of the software or a hidden update? Also, everything is up to date on PowerDirector 10 Deluxe.
System Specs:
CPU: AMD FX-6300 @ 4GHz
Graphics Card: Asus Radeon HD 7770 2GB
RAM: 8GB Corsair Vengance @ 1600MHz
Hard Drive: 1TB Dell HDD 7200rpm

Recording software I use:
BandiCam
Fraps
DXtory
Audacity

I also edit things from my camera.

it doesn't matter, all I know is that I got good scores. I averaged 7.5 in the windows experience index
