CyberPower Has a Thin and Light Gaming Laptop Too

OK, FINALLY there is a reasonably portable laptop with beefy hardware AND an IPS display. 72% sRGB color gamut is not amazing, but it is pretty good and the wide viewing angles will certainly make it easier to use on a lap. Hey Lenovo and Dell...take a cue from this playbook and make this kind of thing!

This laptop is a rebranded Gigabyte P35W v2 if anyone was wondering. It's actually way cheaper to get this version too since it's a "barebone" version that comes without the 128GB SSD that the retail P35W v2 does.

That being said it does run kinda hot like most thin gaming laptops do but reviews for it (the P35W v2 has been out since May) have been very positive.

Digital Storm sells stronger laptops for cheaper, granted you should just reformat to get rid of whatever they install on it.

Digital Storm is just another reseller of Sager laptops, and while I am not a fan of ultrathin laptops, Sager doesn't really offer any for the person that might prefer one.

On a separate note, as somebody else mentioned, this is a rebranded Gigabyte laptop, as most CyberPower laptops are.
