My son was given a Cyberpower PC, this PC worked great until the screen went black during gameplay. It has been cursed ever since.

Here are the specs:

Cyberpower PC C Series
Asus Prime B450M-A motherboard
Ryzen 5 4500 CPU
XPG Adata DDR4 16g RAM
1tb HDD spinner
1tb SSD
XFX RX 580P4L GPU
Windows (Not sure which windows is on it as it wont display and previous owner wasn't sure)

We have tried ALL of the standard reset methods to no avail. We have also traded out the motherboard, HDD, SSD, GPU, and CPU ALL with known working components and still no display. Please help, at this point it's more about figuring it out then it is salvaging the PC.

You could use a multimeter to test for the voltages, but the existence of correct voltages does not necessarily prove it is good, so I wouldn't bother. Lot of times with bad power supplies, voltages could go out of spec only under load like the computer trying to start, or in games.

The only real way to test if it's the problem is to test the system with another power supply unfortunately. With everything you've changed out, its one of the last possibilities.

Have you tried to take all of the ram out and put just a single stick back in? Although since you already did a motherboard swap this probably won't help.

Yes, I have tried booting with on RAM as well. I have another PSU ordered for a different build I am working on. It's not supposed to be here for a couple weeks. Also, it's a 1200W PSU. Wouldn't that be too much to test this PC with?
