I am about to order a $2000 dollar or more system on CyberpowerPC, until I heard some people saying that their experiences with CyberPower were terrible. On the (tom's hardware) forums I heard that their parts are defective. There is a giant sale going on at the moment and I was thinking of ordering it now. What is your experiences and have you had any problems with CyberPowerPC?

Solution
Cyberpower PC is not alone in using cost-cutting measures that sacrifice quality, such as using overrated, inefficient and obsolete PSUs, ancient-chipset motherboards, and prior-generation CPUs. It's very possible they could produce something decent, but you'd need to really dig through the fine print and the specific parts list to be sure. If you provide a link to the deal in question, we can take a look at it.
Most likely, you will be able to build your own system for 75% of the cost, using better parts. If you have reasonable manual dexterity and eyesight, and enough patience to not rush anything, it is fairly easy to build your own. You might look for some build videos on YouTube; Newegg has a lot of them, as do some others...

There are illustrated guides online as well, and forums such as this one right here to provide assistance.
Another option would be to find a local shop (e.g. not Geek Squad, Staples, or similar pack of drones) that will assemble parts that you provide.

Solution
My Experience with Cyberpowerpc

Ordered a 2000 dollar pc got it a month later
Many connections were unplugged
2 parts rattling around inside
2 memory slot ends broken off the slots so now instead of 8 i only have six slots
long hold to tech support
I sent pictures and suggested they compensate my damaged system by sending me 16 more gigs of ram
no resolution yet
now tech support has not replied to the last 4 emails about a resolution
