D-link Gigabit Switch help

Hey all,

I have a used D-link DGS-1016D, a D-link 16 port gigabit switch.

I have it hooked up to my main PC through Ethernet, but my main PC gets internet from wifi.

1) How do I log onto the switch? Where can I find it's address? usually when I hook up a switch, i get a default gateway and i just use that IP address in my browser to access it's settings. But this thing isnt giving my any such thing.

2) How would I get the my main PC to allow other test PCs i hook up to use it's internet?

if you are trying to share the internet through your switch, you will have to enable ICS (Internet Connection Sharing) on your PC.

you are using a un-managed switch; therefore, you cannot log into it. there is no need for a managed switch either.
