I tried setting up my d-link router with static ip
IP provided by my ISP is 10.1.1.193
subnet mask is 255.255.255.0
But I get an error "WAN IP must be on these networks"
How can I correct this error?

Solution
Simple: don't give your router a static IP. That should be managed by your ISP. If you are paying for a static IP, then they will make sure that yours doesn't change.
The IP you have listed as from your ISP is a private IP and will not be reachable from outside of your ISP's network.
