Hi.
Today I fresh install of windows 7 home premium.
Then I try to install my nvidia vga driver. My driver installed but I got an error with installing geforce experience!

I got "D3DCompiler_47.dll is missing from your computer......"

I reinstall the windows but it didn't help.
Even I download the dll and copy it to system32 folder but didn't help.

I google it but I couldn't find any solution for this.

I really appreciate it if someone help me.

Thanks,
Hossein.

I ran into this problem and went round-and-round with it earlier this week for one of my clients. Later in the week I had another client have the same issue after several .Net Framework 4.7 updates installed onto his PC (Windows 7 Pro 64-Bit).

I performed a Google search and found some great information that quickly resolved the issue for the second client. Simply installing Microsoft KB4019990 resolved the issue! The direct link to the download page is:

http://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=KB4019990

Click on the “Download” button next to the item that relates to your operating system. Follow the instruction provided to install the update and reboot.

The official Microsoft Article about this issue can be found at:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4019990/update-for-the-d3dcompiler-47-dll-component-on-windows

I hope this information saves everyone from many headaches!

This is the only thing that fixed it for me. Works on Win 7 Enterprise x64 SP1. Thanks jbcs!
