Question D6 & A2 Q-code No Post

I have a rig I built a few years ago that suddenly booted to an IDE error with some options to repair, restart etc. but I couldn't get anywhere. I eventually booted to BIOS and set it to defaults and immediately got no video on the next boot attempt. It hangs on Q-code D6 for several seconds before stopping on A2. The thing that makes it harder to troubleshoot is that I have an KF processor without an integrated GPU... Great idea that was. Is it possible for a BIOS setting to cause a video output issue? I just find it strange that I got the video related code once I set the BIOS to default. Seems unlikely the GPU just happened to die at the exact same time. I do have another computer I can test the GPU in later today. Also going to pull the RAM and make sure the mobo throws a ram related code. Just not sure how I would be able to see the BIOS to make any changes if the dedicated GPU isn't outputting video and there is no integrated. I don't have another GPU to swap in unfortunately. Any feedback would be appreciated!

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

It hangs on Q-code D6 for several seconds before stopping on A2.

referring to page A-1, are you sure it's not 06 instead of D6?

The thing that makes it harder to troubleshoot is that I have an KF processor without an integrated GPU... Great idea that was.
This is why I suggest skipping the F SKU of processors as the iGPU is invaluable in the event you're having to diagnose display related issues.

What BIOS version are you on for your motherboard? You forgot to mention the make and model of your PSU. Include it's age as well. your motherboard has the option to flash the BIOS, follow through this guide;

and reflash the BIOS with the latest version.
