Damaged ASUS Z87-A

Hi Guys

I got a new ASUS z87-A motherboard and I accidentally bent some pins . so I went and repaired It . but 2 sticks of RAM don't work and It's only 2 sticks of 4GB corsair signle channel

my question is :

1.should I resell this and get a new one ? and run 16 GB dual channel ?

or

2.this one is fine for now and I should sell other 8GB of ram : )



All your opinions DOES matter to me a lot

i think you should send it back to the where you buy it , did you still have the warranty ?

but you can keep going with 8gb ram , my max usage of the ram was 5.5GB while gamin on BF4 with GTX 760 SLI and running some app in background ,the rest of my total 16GB "4x4GB" was waste of money until 2016 i guess .
so 8 GB is way more than enough for hardcore users.
