Question Damaged cpu?

So I made a real newbie error when putting a system together. I forgot to lock down the CPU. I attempted to fit the cooler before I realized what I'd done. Now the CPU has a small bend/crack in one corner. After fitting it correctly I ran the intel CPU tester program and the CPU passed all tests. I also used a different motherboard as I had damaged the pins on the original. After installing windows though the system keeps crashing. I'm getting bugcheck error 1001 and error id 27. I guess i wanna know is this caused by the damaged CPU or something else.

my guess that it could be the cpu since you have damanged it but could be something eles so could you take picture of the cpu that is damange and maybe players can help you!

I dont think that you would be able to pass any tests in the cpu testing program or install windows if the processor was damaged, probly a corrupt windows installation, bugcheck error 1001 is usualy a software problem.

I've installed windows four times with two different motherboards and two different m.2 drives and i keep getting the same errors.

Could it be the wifi dongle I'm using that's causing the crash? I get the same two errors each time. The bugcheck 1001 and then the error 27.

Yes just very slightly. The is a slightly darker line the runs between the two arrows. I also ran Aida64 stress test for 5 minutes and no issues.

I would replace the cpu ether way, Error codes could be software issue but think that since you damanged cpu you should replace it!
