[SOLVED] Damaged Motherboard Around CPU Cooler Screws

Hello all, I am seeking advice on an issue I had.

When I was installing my cooler for the cpu, I think I overt tightened and damgaged some tracers around the hole, though it looks like some tracers are designed to go right under he screws, so that is odd.

The photo is very fuzzy. Also what makes you think there are traces there that is being damaged? And what makes you think that the system is not working? My guess at this point is that any damage you've done is probably cosmetic.

It is not a fully built system yet, and the reason I think there are traces damaged is because they look like the white stuff has damaged them

Does it look like it is permanently damaged or are you sure it is just cosmetic

There is permanent cosmetic damage at the hole no doubt. But where do you get the idea that it is anything related to the traces? Motherboard manufacturers with any sense would never run any traces where mounting holes go.
