Damaged motherboard. Should I get a new?

I couldn't start my computer with RAM in dual channel (continuous reboot). I sent it in and they said it was because of being too rough when screwing in the CPU fan that broke some connectors. I've used it for about a year in single channel with no problems.

Should I worry about anything running with a defect motherboard? Seemingly there's only the RAM slots that are affected.
If not, is there a performance difference between single and dual channel RAM that is worth it for gaming?

I would advise to have it replaced. Who knows when it will fail completely.

Yeah, I guess I'll bite the bullet now that it has gone some time and upgrade some other things too while I'm at it.
