hi! I bought a new SSD for my PC yesterday. It is the WD M.2 2280 PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD. The motherboard in the pc is a Z390 ASUS motherboard. When I insert the new drive, the PC wont boot. In the sequence, it was saying that it needs the previous SSD in the motherboard to be able to boot. We went in and put the old one back in the same slot, and it booted and turned on fine. Then when I insert the new drive into a different slot and keep the previous SSD in the same place, it continues to have the issue of not booting and shutting off. We dug deeper to find that the old SSD is 99% damaged. Is there a way to fix this issue? Would we need to edit the BIOS? Every place I try to get support from they tell me to bring it in, however I just wanted to know if there was anything I could do before I have to do that.
EDIT: We ran BIOS and Test manager as Admin and when we scan the drive on windows it says it need to be repaired. So I hit repair and it will tell me SUCSESS and then do nothing.
