Data corrupting itelf during transfer.

I have 1255 music files to move form my laptop to a 32gb micro sd card. i have an adapter that came with the card. during the transfer the tags would disappear and when i try to play the files from the sd card this error comes up: The file you are attempting to play has an extension (.mp3) that does not match the file format. Playing the file may result in unexpected behaviour.
How do i change the format so the song will.

The songs on my pc are fine. also, transferring to my 8 gb mirco sd seems to be working fine. the 32gb card is a samsung card and im running vista

I've been thinking, if some of the songs transfer fine and some don't, would it work if i made another partition and put the songs that are not sending properly onto that partition
