Hello. It all started when me and my friend went to extra classes after my school. There a lady who is admin of that classes came in and started to say the things that we told to our teacher (about computers & programming..).We understood that she has some problem with her PC but the she didn't the problem goes like this : Her close friend who is a business man had lost his company's tally files etc.. they also had gone to a expensive data recovery company and they too said nothing can be done. The problem that happened was when the person gave his laptop for repairing his CD drive the people who were suppose to do only with the CD drive changed the laptops os. And the most horrible thing that was done was the os was installed in 'D' drive were he had his files rather than in the drive that had the previous os. The most funniest thing is the one who did that thing was having training on computers ...... So I wanted to do something for her an that person who had trust on me.

If a professional data recovery service could do nothing. Then odds are you are not going to find useful files. Since they installed the OS and presumably updates, drives, software, &c on that drive. Those files are written over and/or corrupted beyond use. While the recover software will likely pick up files. Odds are they will be useless fragments. You might get lucky and recover a few of them.
