Hi, I need a solution to recover my lost data (a folder) while accidently moving to br drive. The br drive was open, and I meant to move to the folder to another directory, but I accidently pointed at the br drive, and unclicked. After that, the folder was lost. The folder was on seagate external hard drive (3TB), and I'm using windows 8.
Any solution?
(Right now, I'm trying to recover the data using both EaseUs, and Recuva. Both takes so much time, and I'm wondering if it's going to work because it's not "DELETED" from my hard drive, it's just lost... I think there's some error in windows 8, using external hard drive, with br drive, and drag&drop methods.)

By "br drive" are you saying Blu-Ray or something else?

Recovery tools too take a while to run, are you actually trying to run both of those utilities at the same time? That is not a good idea. Is the data just waiting to be written to the Blu-Ray disk maybe? See if there is a note in the system tray about files being ready to be written to disk.

"br drive" means Blue-Ray.
By accident, I pointed at BR drive, and BR drive opened, then I unclicked, losing whole folder.
I'm kind of newbie, so I don't know what it means by "system tray", but I didn't open any blue ray write-software, so I guess nothing is left.

I'm not running both of utilities at the same time.... somehow recuva didn't leave me any good result, and I'm still running easeUS data recovery to see the result...
