[SOLVED] Data Recovery

Hi,

I have an old WD Elements hard drive that stopped working. Data recovery testing was performed and confirmed that the files were ok.
The drive was deconstructed and I was sent back a piece, which I now need help to know what I need to be able to get the files off.
Not sure how to post a picture of what I have

Is the drive ok right now? Is that the faulty piece that was on the HDD? Can you take a picture of your HDD to see if it has everything.

That is all I was given back, apart from the shell of the hard drive.

And where is your hard drive containing data?

That piece is USB to sata adapter. It doesn't contain any data.

Yeah there is no data on that part. I wasn't sure what it was so thanks to SkyNetRising for clarifying that.

If the drive data was ok but the drive had an issue and they repaired it the drive should have been sent back to you too.

Thank you so much everyone!! I had no idea that I was missing the most important piece. I went back to the computer shop and my drive was still there!
