I'm in the process of setting up a server for virtual machines and would like to clarify a couple of licensing points:

1. Does the Windows Server Datacenter 2022 license automatically cover Windows 11 virtual machines running on Hyper-V, or will I need to purchase separate Windows 11 license keys for the VMs?

This depends on the specific terms of what Datacenter license you're paying for.

Some may include VMs, some just the Server OS.
