Hi everyone,
I'm going to make myself a build for a pc to use as a DAW workstation and also some gaming, but that's not the main thing, the important thing is that I run the games. As a daw I use ableton and vst exclusively.
The configuration I had in mind was the following, I have a budget of around 1500 euros, but if you have any suggestions to improve it I welcome it:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 7900X 4.7 GHz 12-Core Processor (405 eu)
CPU Cooler: Thermaltake TH240 V2 ARGB Sync 57.05 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler (107 eu)
Motherboard: MSI MAG B650 TOMAHAWK WIFI ATX AM5 Motherboard (202 eu)
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws S5 64 GB (2 x 32 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30 Memory (222 eu)
Storage: Western Digital Black SN850X 2 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive (140 eu)
Video Card: MSI Ventus XS OCV1 GeForce GTX 1650 G6 4 GB Video Card (144 eu)
Case: Deepcool CC560 ATX Mid Tower Case (55 ey)
Power Supply: SHARKOON WPM Gold Zero 550 W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-modular (70 eu )
I was also thinking of doing an undervolt with ClockTuner because of the problem of AM5s getting hot. Lastly, I was wondering if the video card was good enough to play a minimum of games on it without expecting 4k performance.
