Long story short, I run an AMD A8-6600k CPU with an R9 270X 2GB GPU, yet I get massive amounts of stuttering in DayZ Standalone. I have tried every setting, and even turned every video setting to the lowest but still it stutters at around 9-15 FPS. I am convinced it is my processor, as I know my graphics card can handle a game like DayZ. I'm not sure why my CPU is causing the game to stutter. I have tried drivers, closing other open applications, but I still do not know what's causing it. My CPU is stock cooled by the way, and it is not overclocked. I also don't think overclocking will help much, but what do I know. Thanks

Solution
DayZ is a very single core heavy game, and the A8 6600K just isn't a single core performer. Not many AMD CPUs are, which is why for the Arma series, and DayZ as well Intel CPU's are recommended.
Arma II and DayZ are very poorly optimized, this will never be fixed ans has been a complaint since day 1.

Look these over maybe they contain something you haven't tried, it took me a good week to tweak the game and make it playable on a APU. This was a Steam Purchase, if you want to know the exact settings I used I will have to ask the customer.

A10-6800K @ 5ghz
2400 MHZ RAM "APU's get a big boost from faster RAM"
R9 270X 4gb
250 GB SSD "This game caches...a lot.. if you don't have a SSD then install to a SD CARD or USB 3.0 Flash Drive"

24-55fps on Mix settings @ 1080p could probably be better I stopped there.
