Ddr 3 support

hello i just wanna know that does my system support ddr3 type graphics card here are my system specs its core 2 duo processor 2gb ram nvidia 9500 gt 1gb graphics card gt and ddr3 ram i just wanna upgrade it to 4gb at least

It will support ddr2,ddr3,ddr5 gpu.gpu memory have no relation with ram chipset.
